The project’s concept was to eliminate ‘white spots’ – the places with no broadband internet access. Covering Lower Silesia with the fiber optic network brought high quality media services closer to the residents who could not access them before. The network was built with the use of technology in micro scale to minimize invasiveness of the carried out works while keeping data transmission speed at the same time. Currently only 1 out of 7 tubes is being used which gives perspective on further development of the broadband networks in the area.
