The representatives of the state, the localgovernment, the generaloperator and the telecommunicationcompanies, including FONBUD, took part in the formal closing ceremony of The Broadband Network in Eastern Poland - Lublin Voivodeshipwhichtook place in Lublin on the 10th of September 2015. During the event an overview of the investment was presented, focusing on its financial aspects and the technical capabilities of the brodaband network. After which there were two panel discussions about the future cooperation between the operators of the access networks and Lublin Voivodeship.The general contractor was AERONAVAL DE CONSTRUCCIONES E INSTALACIONES SAU from Spain, FONBUD was their subcontractor. The overalllenght of the built network was over 2900 km in 189 communes. FONBUD was responsible for 3 out of 14 investment areas: Chelm, Parczew and Hrubieszowwhere 618,7 km of the broadband network was built.
